READ-EYE
is a chromo simulator which is able to produce a huge range of
colours. It can be used to:
Find a
patient’s optimum colour space position
Simulate the effects of illumination
Simulate tinted lenses under differing light conditions
Evaluate whether or not tints comply with driving regulations
Verify tinted lenses
The READ-EYE
instrument and associated software provides assessment for visual
dyslexia and other colour related conditions. It comprises:
* A colour
controllable light source with integral lectern
* A suite of clinical tests
* Computer and software
* A database of optical tints and illuminants
In-built
colour tracking allows the clinician to follow patient response
and target the best colour. The software creates complete patient
records and assessment data. Clinical and fashion tints can now
be evaluated for efficacy.
